Teacher Shona's Notes
Happy Summer everyone!
Our family has been enjoying picnics at Birch Bay, swimming at Lake Padden, eating fresh fruits, visiting with family who lives out of state, going to the library, playing at Million Smiles, and splashing in our pool in the back yard. I hope you are having the same kind of joyful summer with your children! God is so good! I don't want to miss out on one day.
I am nearly walking again which is such a blessing. Although I wouldn't wish this trial on anyone I have seen God work in such an amazing way this past year thanks to many of you! Being part of a church community is an absolute necessity! That is what makes me excited about fall...everyone getting back into the swing of church education and connecting with one another.
I am so excited I am nearly bursting! This summer has been full of enrichment for me and I am so eager to start our fall programming. I can't wait to see your precious children at Sunday School each week this fall. We are planning to have a special Sunday school class for you parents this fall too at the 9 a.m. service. We hope you will stay to attend church as a family at 10:30 (note the time change.) There will be an additional Sunday School class for your young children to attend if you don't feel they can sit in church this long. It is gonna be great!
