Nursery

We provide loving care for Sonlight's infants thru 2-year-olds during both Sunday morning services, the evening service, and other major church programs. All of our childcare workers are warm, friendly, fun, and nurturing so that your child receives the proper attention and care.

Sunday School

9:00 a.m.

Sunday school meets during the 9 a.m. service and is for all children ages 2 thru 6th grade. Our Sunday School recognizes God's abundant love of children and we depend on Him to help us meet our children's needs in three areas:

their brain so they'll understand God's Word
their heart so they'll experience and taste God's love
their muscles so they'll know how to apply God's teachings to daily activities

Children ages 2 thru Kindergarten meet in room 117 at the beginning of the hour for worship, while children 1st thru 6th grades meet in the Upper Room.

10:45 a.m.

Little Lambs

2-year-olds (as of Sept. 1st) flock to this program offered at the 9 & 10:45 a.m. services. Bible stories, games, crafts, sharing, and free play unfold each week.

Children & Worship

Sonlight's 4-year-olds to 2nd graders learn how to worship their Creator and Friend during this Sunday morning program which is offered at the 10:45 service.

Children's Praise Ministry

The Children's Praise Ministry is designed to lead children in a meaningful praise and worship experience through music and movement. Vocalists and instrumentalists will guide our children in singing scripture songs and kid-friendly hymns during the opening of Sunday School at the 9:00 a.m. service. This ministry will also provide musical opportunities for children as well as being involved in the Children's Christmas Program. Through the power of music and praise, our desire is to lead children to a genuine encounter with God.

At Vacation Bible School, kids get to spend each morning for a whole week during the summer doing fun-filled activities, games, participating in interactive Bible stories, eating great snacks and learning more about their Savior. We are praying for lots of volunteers to make this opportunity possible.

GEMS (Girls, grades 2-7)

GEMS is an exciting experience for girls as they grow and develop in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Each girl participates at her own level in Bible study, singing, games, community service, crafts, and various projects to earn badges. Each group of girls is led by a counselor who guides the girls in their spiritual development, skill learning, and Christian service while creating a fun atmosphere where friendships can be formed. The Girls' Club meets every other Monday night from 7-8:30 p.m.

Cadets (Boys, grades 2-8)

Cadets is designed for boys to grow and develop their relationship with Jesus Christ. It is led by Christian men who guide the boys in their spiritual development, skill learning, and Christian service, while creating a fun atmosphere in which to establish friendships and a healthy self-image. The club will meet every other Monday, from 7-8:30 p.m.
