The Place Boys Want To Be
For Boys - grades 2 thru 8
Cadets meet every other Monday from 7 until 8:30 p.m.

Where Boys become Men and Men find their inner boy.

The Cadet Program brings men and boys together for the benefit of both. Cadets is designed for boys to grow and develop their relationship with Jesus Christ. It is led by Christian men who guide the boys in their spiritual development, skill learning, and Christian service, while creating a fun atmosphere in which to establish friendships and a healthy self-image.

In Cadets we use what we call landmarks. These landmarks are guideposts in the adventure called cadeting. The landmarks are something every Cadet must memorize and understand so that they will discover how the Lord is at work in their lives.

Landmarks we use in Cadets:

Our Cadet Code: A Cadet must be reverent, obedient, compassionate, consecrated, trustworthy, pure, grateful, loyal, industrious, and cheerful.

Our Cadet Motto: Living for Jesus

Our Cadet Hymn: Living for Jesus a life that is true, Striving to please Him in all that I do; Yielding allegiance, glad-hearted and free, This is the pathway of blessing for me. O Jesus, Lord and Savior, I give myself to Thee, For Thou, in Thy atonement, Didst give Thyself for me; I own no other Master, My heart shall be Thy throne; My life I give, henceforth to live, O Christ for Thee alone.

Our Cadet Verse: John 14:15
If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

Our Cadet Pledge: Thankful to God for His gifts to me, I pledge myself to be ready to serve God, my parents, my country, my church, my neighbor, and my Corps.
