Sonlight Community Christian Reformed Church exists
to love God and love people.
This mission is based on the text from Luke 10:27:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind and love your neighbor as yourself."
Our calling to achieve this mission involves three things:
Worshiping – Hearing God’s Word and teaching on a regular basis, and responding to the love that He has shown by our praise and worship. This happens in our corporate worship gatherings and in our personal disciplines of prayer, meditation and study.
Connecting – Gathering in fellowship to encourage one another, pray with one another, and learn with one another. This happens in smaller groups, fellowship events, and intentional times of building relationships.
Serving – We live out our relationship with God through lives of service. This happens as we daily love and serve our neighbors locally and globally.
